Auto-order verification helps sellers reduce COD orders RTOs (return to origin) by going through a process that makes sure orders are placed with the right intent and correct information.

Note: Sellers will be charged Rs. 3 from Dukaan Credits for every COD order that will be verified and auto-accepted.

What is the Auto-order verification process?

Once you've enabled this feature, this is how it works:

  1. Seller receives a COD order from the buyer

  2. After the order is received, a WhatsApp message is sent instantly to the buyer to confirm the address

  3. If the buyer doesn't respond, another WhatsApp message is sent after 1 hour to them to confirm the address

  4. If still no response, an automated IVRS call is done after 1 hour of the second message on their number to confirm the address and the order

  5. In case of no response on this, one more automated IVRS call is done after 1 hour of the first IVRS on their number to confirm the address and the order

  6. At last, one manual call is done within 4 hours from Dukaan's team to confirm the order

  7. If the buyer confirms the order at any of the stages above, the order is accepted. If they fail to respond at any stage, the order is rejected

The orders that are confirmed with Auto-order verification will have a green tick next to the order ID. All the rejected orders will have a red cross mark next to them.
